The OS Society is conducting a data census on its members in an effort to gather up-to-date contact and personal information for the next OS Register. If you have not received an email or letter asking you to complete a short questionnaire, please call the OS Office on 01280 818349 and ask for your unique password. We will then invite you to visit www.stowe.co.uk/census to complete the questionnaire.
Welcome
As Chairman, I have the task of ensuring that the Old Stoic Society is sufficiently well organised, well funded, engaging and entertaining to offer our existing members and future members a host of good reasons to become actively involved in the Society. I trust that the pages of this website allow you to see how and why it works so well.
Stowe is very unusual in enjoying such a strong and active alumni association. Our role as a Committee is to provide a forum for Old Stoic opinion, arrange social, business and sporting events, support the School and work with current Stoics and gap year students.
We aim to maintain a network of friendships and valuable connections for every Old Stoic, from the moment they leave the School and for the rest of their lives.
The Society organises a full and varied annual programme of events. Over the coming years, this programme will be refreshed and expanded to include activities for the widest spectrum of Old Stoics.
Also, all members of the Society have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports clubs including golf, cricket, hockey, tennis, sailing, fives, cross country and clay pigeon shooting.
We are always open to any suggestions that you may have, from ideas about events and networking opportunities to new sporting groups. This Society is in existence to support Stowe and the Old Stoic community, so, please make sure you stay in touch.
