Oliver Plunket's amazing charity bike ride
Oliver Plunket (Grafton, 2012) is spending his gap year riding a motorbike 24,000 miles up the Americas for Fisher House. He is riding from Ushuaia in Argentina to Prudhoe Bay Anchorage in Alaska.
The Fisher House Foundation builds and runs "homes away from home" for military patients and their families, normally on US military hospital bases. Here in the UK, they have teamed up with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity to create the first UK Fisher House.
Ollie has currently raised an amazing £33,334 for the charity and, from his last blog on 15 February 2013, has just travelled through Lima. You can visit his blog and his just giving page by clicking on the link below.
