The IAPS Stowe Putter 2009

Young, aspiring Prep School golfers will be taking on the stunning golf course at Stowe School on Thursday 27 August 2009, as they compete for the IAPS Stowe Putter and the Junior Putter trophies.

For those of you unfamiliar with the competition, now in its 42 nd year, the Stowe Putter affords Prep School children the opportunity to test the game.  There are age group prizes from U11 to U14 as well as a team prize to the winning school.  The Stowe Putter is a festival of golf and so, if you are or have a budding golfer at Prep School, boy or girl, talk to your Prep School Head about putting in a team (minimum of 2 and maximum of 4 players).

The details of the competitions will be sent to Prep Schools in early March and entry forms will be available on the Stowe website in the near future.  There will be a practice day for competitors on Wednesday 26 August 2009, with overnight accommodation for players and spectators available at the school.
