Weight Training

The well-equipped fitness room in the Drayson Sports Complex provides both cardiovascular and weight training facilities for Stoics, staff and associated members. It is a very popular venue for a variety of pupils, from those enhancing sporting expertise to those who use it as their primary form of exercise. It is used extensively by Stoics choosing it as a daily activity, sports teams as part of their training and by boarders in their free time in the evenings or at weekends. For those returning from injury the Weights Room often plays an important part in the rehabilitation process.

The facilities provide the opportunity for Stoics to start exercise programmes, complete fitness tests and to enjoy and learn from the freedom of individual work outs, encouraging long-term physical activity both during their time at Stowe and in their future.
