Lacrosse

Lacrosse is an ever-evolving sport here at Stowe and is a key sport for our girls. Played in both the Michaelmas and Lent terms, the lacrosse programme provides training for beginners of all ages and further develops the more advanced players.

Through intensive skills practice and regular conditioning, Stowe is preparing its lacrosse players to compete at the local, county and national levels. Besides our regular fixtures, the School participates in National Schools and Regional Tournaments across all the different age groups.

The 1st XII won the Midlands Tournament in 2010 and were runners up in 2011. Three of our girls have represented England recently.

A Stowe lacrosse player will leave the School with knowledge, understanding and the skills of the game as well as an appreciation and respect for the sport and its participants.
