The Stoic - Annual School Magazine
The Stoic provides pupils and staff with the opportunity to record events that have occurred during the year. Whether it is the results on the sporting field, information about music concerts, a list of guest speakers, samples of creative writing or pictures and reviews of dramatic performances, the aim of The Stoic is to provide readers with as much information as possible about the activities at Stowe.
Importantly, it gives students the opportunity to see that their efforts in art coursework or a creative textiles workshop, playing sport for the School or for their House will be recognised and showcased to their own and prospective parents.
Pupil involvement in the production of The Stoic is valued highly and although Stoics choose to be a part of the committee outside of other activities, participation is at a reasonable level. Stoics influence the content of the annual magazine and how the articles will be presented.
Meetings are held once a week and keen writers, designers and photographers are all welcomed.
