Senior History Society
The Senior History Society exists to enable Stoics to escape the confines of the classroom and the syllabus in order to explore a discipline that is truly as wide as human experience itself.
In addition to museum, exhibition, cinema and theatre visits the Society seeks to attract as broad a range of guest speakers as possible to address the Society. In recent years there have been lectures from distinguished professional historians and academics from leading universities, as well as hearing the testimonies of veterans, survivors and witnesses; all of whom vivify the past and offer the students the opportunity to ask questions.
