Appointments, Lessons & Record Sheets

before going to the car.
-
On return to Stowe, the time, a few words on course coverage, the amount paid, and the date and time of the next appointment should also be written and initialed by instructor and pupil. Replacing the record sheet in the house section of the folder ends the lesson.
-
Amounts paid in advance should be recorded, and the pre-paid lessons initialed by the instructor in the "£ paid" column, and a box drawn around the block.
-
Missed appointments: 15 minutes after the appointed time, instructor or pupil should record the fact and ask the receptionist to countersign it.
-
When the record sheet is full the pupil must contact the Master i/c Driving for a new one.
-
Pupil's record sheets must not be removed from the North Hall Reception area.
Driving Tests
- Theory tests are arranged by instructors and pupils.
- Times, dates and results of Driving Test appointments must be entered on the record sheet.
- Tests normally cost two or three hours of lesson time, in addition to the test fee.
- The instructor should apply for the test as soon as is appropriate.

What to do Next
- Complete the relevant sections of the Learner Driver's Record Sheet
- Post it to your child's house master or mistress.
- The pupil must then find an instructor from the approved instructor list and arrange their first lesson. The Stoic then brings the form and driving license to the driving lessons coordinator.
- Please inform the driving lessons coordinator if you wish to use an instructor of your own choice.
Approved Driving Instructors
- Instructors must be approved by the school.
- New instructors must fill out a registration form available from the master in charge of driving lessons and are required to bring the completed form and documents to an interview with Mr. John Wilmot.
- The school is obliged to vet instructors under the Child Act.
