Crossfire (Bible Study Group)
Crossfire is the School's Christian meeting. It exists to give every Stoic the opportunity to investigate the claims of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible and a chance to find out what being a Christian is all about.
Meetings are weekly, very informal and open to everyone, whatever the age or background. The meetings are held each Friday after prep, usually in the Blue Room in Stowe House, to hear a short talk from a Bible passage or on a particular topic. There is time to chill, eat doughnuts and chat before and after the talk.
Each week Crossfire hosts a different speaker, of whom there is a chance to ask questions after the talk. Crossfire is somewhere Stoics can relax a bit away from the busy life at Stowe and have a think about things beyond School.
