House Accessibility

Stowe House is fully accessible and welcomes visitors with disabilities. Please make us aware of your access requirements so we can help facilitate your visit to the House, call +44(0)1280 818002 during office hours or email rpeters@stowe.co.uk

Although the House is fully accessible it is advised that you are accompanied by an able-bodied carer.

Disabled visitors are required to purchase a standard ticket for the House, (please see our admission prices page for further information), essential carer's are admitted free of charge.

For House visitors with access needs, there is parking at the North Front of the House, please contact us, call +44(0)1280 818002 during office hours or email rpeters@stowe.co.uk, to book access to this parking.

People with further mobility restrictions can alight directly in front of the North Front steps (Stowe School entrance) before their vehicle is parked. A Visitor Assistant will meet you and assist with your entry to the House.

The State Rooms are on the first floor (Piano Nobile), this are accessible via a lift or staircase within the House.

Wheelchairs are available upon request. There are public toilets available in the House including facilities for the disabled.
