Additional Information

  • The House is child-friendly and under fives enter free of charge.
  • Groups can be accommodated by pre-arrangement.
  • Only Assistance Dogs are allowed in the House.
  • There are no refreshment facilities in the House but the
    National Trust tearooms are open for light refreshments and
    lunches on the days when the Gardens are open. Toilets,
    including disabled access, are available in the House.
  • If you are visiting both the House and Gardens, visitors are
    requested to park in the National Trust car park - the walk to
    the House is approximately 7 minutes from the National
    Trust Visitor Reception, passing the tearooms and toilets
    along the way. If you are visiting the House only or need to
    be closer to the House entrance for access reasons, there is
    limited parking in the Cricket Pavilion car park which is
    signposted as you drive in front of the House.
