Getting Involved
During its heyday, the Stowe estate required an army of people to help run it efficiently. In the 21st century this still holds true. Stowe School employs hundreds of full-time and part-time staff who teach, clean and cook for the pupils as well as those who maintain the buildings and grounds. Also non-academic staff to help support the academic staff and raise funds for the School and House. The National Trust has a team of paid staff who are supported by a large volunteer base working in the Gardens. As Stowe House becomes more accessible to the public there are plenty of volunteering opportunities to help support the work of Stowe House Preservation Trust.

Other ways to help
The Stowe House Preservation Trust is a registered charity and we are always looking to raise funds for the continued restoration of the building. Working alongside great public donors such as Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and World Monuments Fund, we raise funding for the restoration projects and are dependent upon generous private donors. Without public support and interest we would not be able to preserve the great house of Stowe, nor open it to the public.
If you are looking for the various ways by you can make a gift to Stowe House then please click through to the Campaign for Stowe page which outlines the next restoration project and how every little helps.
