Life before Stowe
I was educated at Alleyn’s School, London and St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge, where I read Geography. I then worked at Hebron International School in South India where I met my wife and together we ran a girls’ boarding house. After 6 years (and 3 children) in India we returned to the UK and I took up a post teaching Geography at Lord Wandsworth College, Hampshire where Debs and I ran the school’s first 13-18 girls’ house for 6 years.
Other hats
I am delighted to be invited to any Prep School to take an Assembly or a Chapel service. I did one at Maidwell Hall earlier this term, which was a real pleasure.
Passions
I am married to Debs, who is an artist, and we have three children. We are all active members of Well Street Church, Buckingham. I have a keen interest in music and am a member of the Stowe staff rock band “Plug Street.” I am also a lifelong Arsenal fan and will not tolerate any nonsense from Chelsea or Spurs fans.
