Swimming

Swimming at Senior, U16 and Junior level is a thriving sport at Stowe. In 2006 the boys and girls teams all enjoyed considerable success, especially the U16 boys who remained undefeated over a run of 16 matches.
In addition to a very healthy fixture list the School competes in the English Schools Bazuka National Swimming Championships, County competitions and the swimming pinnacle for all HMC Schools- the Bath Cup. Stowe also hosts its own increasing popular Stowe Relay Championships. Inter-House rivalry culminates in the swimming sports held in February where both House and individual performances are rewarded.
Training takes place in Stowe's own 6 lane 25metre pool on a daily basis. Dedicated swimmers can take advantage of both early morning and evening training sessions.
