Improved Sports Facilities
Sport plays an immensely important part in life at Stowe. Key sports of rugby, hockey, tennis and cricket for boys, and lacrosse, netball, hockey and tennis for girls, are complemented by a huge range of other opportunities. As demand for participation increases, the development of the Bourbon has become a pressing priority.  Following the opening of the second all-weather pitch in January 2008, our immediate focus remains on the expansion of facilities on the Bourbon sports field:

-
Two further pitches will be created for rugby and lacrosse in the

Michaelmas and Lent terms, and cricket in the Summer.
-
These playing fields will be situated beyond the far boundary of the

Bourbon playing field, adjacent to the new all-weather pitch.

Total cost: £250,000

Making a Gift to support this project
We would be delighted to receive donations of any size to help us reach this particular goal. Various ways of making a gift, tax-efficiently, are described under 'Making a Donation'. Should you wish to speak to someone personally about how to do so, the Director of the Campaign, Colin Dudgeon, would be delighted to make contact. Please click here for further details.

Funding Idea:
A gift of £250 (or £21 per month for 12 months) would fund a square metre of the new pitch. The generosity of all 'square metre' donors will be recognised on a Board of Donors adjacent to the pitches.
